Beacon Bed and Breakfast, The Swann Inn of Beacon. Close to Newburgh and Cold Spring. originally built in 1866. Located at the base of Mt. Beacon, just a short walk to the Mt. Beacon Park, the Inn is a perfect location for travelers and hikers visiting the Mid-Hudson Valley. Located in the thriving city of Beacon, The Swann Inn offers three guest rooms on the second floor and one large master suite on the ground foor. Two rooms include full bathrooms and TV. Two have shared baths. Two night stays are preferred, but we will take one night stays. The Swann Inn of Beacon is five minutes to downtown Beacon and seven minutes to the Beacon Metro North Train Station . Visitors traveling from NYC by train, can catch a taxi at the water front train station or arrange [ in advance], to be picked up at the train station in Beacon by one of the innkeepers. Please come and stay awhile...wake up to the smell of fresh baked bread and discover area attractions, such as Bannerman Island and DIA Art Center, Mt.Beacon hiking, Beacon's Main Street shopping including fine restaurants and galleries.
